The Hotbit crypto exchange is shutting down for maintenance after an attempted hack

The cryptocurrency exchange platform Hotbit shut down all services after a cyber attack on Thursday.

“Hotbit just suffered a serious cyber attack that began on April 29, 2021 around 8:00 p.m. UTC and resulted in the paralysis of some basic services,” a note reads on the platform’s website.
