Wall Street wins on opening as higher oil drives energy stocks

(Reuters) – The major Wall Street indices opened higher on Monday as higher oil prices boosted energy stocks as investors prepared for major inflationary figures later this week.

The increase was 46.0 points, or 0.13%, to 34253.87. The increase was 14.3 points or 0.34% on opening to 4170.16, while the increase was 86.2 points or 0.64% to 13557.212 on the opening bell.
